This mirror provides an OEM look while providing features your OEM mirror doesn't have. It is a direct replacement in Hyundai vehicles with the BlueLink system.

The built in 4.3 inch TFT LCD display screen gives a precise image of what is behind your vehicle when used with the included backup camera. The display shows a real-time view of the rear of the vehicle. The display screen is hidden. Once connected to a reverse wire in the vehicle, the display appears through the mirror glass automatically when the vehicle is shifted into "reverse" and it disappears when the vehicle is shifted into any other gear, leaving the appearance of a standard mirror. (So you don't lose the use of half your mirror.)

This rear camera display mirror should help reduce the risk of backup accidents, especially for vehicles with limited rear vision. It is also convenient for hooking up to boats, RVs and trailers. *Please note that the video display mirror is intended to be used as a supplemental device for drivers and does not eliminate the need to check rearview mirrors or walk around the vehicle, should conditions warrant. 

This mirror has two video inputs. This allows you to add a second input. Use the second input for a front-mounted camera, a DVD player, etc. Video from the second input is automatically switched to the backup camera (input 1) once the vehicle is put in reverse. (Assuming you have connected the reverse wire.) 

Professional installation is recommended, as connection of power, ground and reverse wires will be required, as well as routing for said wires. A small hole will need drilled for installation of the camera.
