The sealed box is optimized for its subwoofer to guarantee the best possible performance, while black carpet protects the tough 5/8" medium-density fiberboard enclosure so it'll look good for years to come. The sub's polypropylene cone and rubber surround handle high power levels with minimal distortion, and the stamped steel frame gives this sub a firm foundation. The speaker's 4-ohm impedance is compatible with a wide range of amplifiers.
