- This is a power cable for the Thinkware dash cams. It plugs into your accessory power outlet (cigarette lighter) and is powered when that outlet is on. Since it is not hardwired, you are able to move your dash cam between vehicles. It does not allow use of some advanced Q800Pro, F800Pro, F800, X550 and F770 Thinkware dash cam features that are enabled when the ignition is not on. (Like Super Night Vision, Time Lapse and parking surveillance.)
