This heavy-duty barrel spring is designed for longer or heavier antennas that a standard spring cannot hold upright. Recommended for CB antennas longer than 5 feet.

Springs are often a recommended add-on anytime there is a chance that your CB antenna may strike obstacles such as tree limbs. CB springs offer stress relief that protects your antenna, antenna mount, and your vehicle from damage when antennas bounce off of tree limbs, garage doors, and similar obstacles. Let's face it, it is easy to forget that your CB antenna sticks up higher than the rest of your car or truck, and smacking the tip against a foreign object can result in breakage or worse.
